Fostering is a very important part of our rescue efforts. Open your home and heart to a dog or cat in need of a safe place to transition to their forever, loving home. You don’t have to be an “expert” on animals to be a foster care provider. There are no out-of-pocket expenses when providing foster care. AFF provides the food and covers medical costs. You are asked to give your care, love and time in a nurturing and safe environment. Each animal's situation will be unique. The length of time an animal will spend in foster care will vary based upon that animal’s age, condition and ability to heal. It takes special people to foster. Fosters play a key role in helping the animals learn how to feel loved, confident and secure – some for the first time in their lives. If this rewarding venture is of interest to you, please complete the Foster Care Application Form and also a Foster Agreement. The forms require signatures so please fax to 206.937.9874 (to expedite the review process) and mail the originals to the address listed on the forms. |
