Everyone's Best Friend

I wanted to share how honored we feel that AFF allowed us to become Beethoven’s forever home.

Beethoven truly is an incredible dog. He has been dubbed “everyone's best friend.”  He is so easy going. He absolutely adores everyone (animal and human) that he comes in contact with.

Beethoven has learned how to navigate our house and yard quite well. It amazes me that he doesn’t let his blindness slow him down.  He is so willing to try everything – even if it means occasionally running into something. He has learned the word, 'Stop' for the most part but occasionally, when he is overly excited, he forgets to “listen.”

Beethoven’s favorite toy is a big purple ball. It is so funny to watch him with his ball. He jumps on top of it and will chase it in circles for 20-30 minutes at a time. It works great for him because it has a handle and doesn’t roll too far away so he can always keep a paw on it.  One of our favorite things to do in the evening is to sit and watch Beethoven play. It is hard to believe he is 7 years old. He is such a puppy at heart.

When I originally inquired about him, I remember being told that Beethoven was very special.

Yes, he is!
